As the ongoing genocide continues to break apart families and leave a sense of hopelessness, it is important to remember that the Palestinian spirit can never be broken. This has not only been a year of violence and heartbreak, but also a year of faith and resistance.

We at Sabil USA are honored to have been a source of support and community for one of Gaza’s finest and honorable doctors who was working in the hospitals during the bombing. Escaping Rafah a few months ago, this determined Gazan doctor is now here, in Orange County, working as hard as he can to become a neurosurgeon so he can go back to his homeland and help his people. Thanks to the most compassionate donors and supporters, we raised $12,000 to pay his tuition and support him for an Accelerated Clinical Experience Program in Neurosurgery at UC San Diego.     

 God willing, this opportunity will prepare him as he applies for his residency program and becomes a renowned neurosurgeon, representing his homeland and helping his people. Help us support this honorable doctor as he embarks on this path of education and resistance. It is our duty to support Palestinians as they pursue their education, allowing them to bring their knowledge and power back to their homeland.
